In life, there is always some problem or hardship. Whether it is financial, health, or other kinds of issues, or some other calamity, everyone desires protection from these hardships. Islam teaches a way of life that teaches people to seek Allah’s mercy and protection. Among such supplications, the Musibat se bachne ki dua holds a special place.
Concept of Dua in Islam
Dua is a believer’s direct contact with Allah, a mode of worship, and a source for seeking help, guidance, and protection. The Qur’an and Hadith stress the significance of turning to Allah in time of distress and seeking His aid. Allah says in the Qur’an:
“Call upon Me; I will respond to you.”
(Surah Ghafir: 40:60)
This is to remind Allah that He is always close, listening to His servants’ cries, and always ready to alleviate their burdens.
Dua for Protection from Hardships (Musibat)
Among the most effective and oft-repeated duas from which protection from musibat can be sought are derived from the Qur’an and Sunnah. Among these are Surah Al-Nas and Surah Al-Falaq. They are referred to as the two protectors, called Mu’awwidhatayn, and are read as seeking refuge from all manner of evil and calamities.
“Say, ‘I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the Sovereign of mankind, the God of mankind, from the evil of the retreating whisperer – who whispers [evil] into the breasts of mankind – from among jinn and mankind.'”
How to Use This Dua:
Firstly , Recite Surah Al-Nas and Surah Al-Falaq daily, especially during morning and evening adhkar (remembrances).
Secondly , Blow over yourself and your family after reciting these surahs to seek protection.
At last , Recite with humility and faith in Allah’s mercy.
